Oh the Kentucky Derby was so exciting!! I did this quilt for a guild challenge this past summer. The pattern ( Slice of summer) was started in a Pat Sloan workshop and has lots of things that KY is famous for.
I named this quilt "Lucky in Kentucky"
adventures with needle and thread or what ever else strikes my fancy

Welcome in Blogland. Be aware, you can get hooked, well I am anyway. You make beautiful work and I am looking forward to seeing more. Take care.
I came to you through Vera's blog and then again through Dawn's blog. Welcome to blogland and I'm looking forward to seeing all your lovely work and such.
Echoing Dawn here (is that spelled right? It doesn't look like it!) - I don't remember you ever sharing this quilt before. It's a perfect Kentucky tribute. A wonderful adaptation of Pat's design .
